ABOUT ME
Hey! I'm Rob Ulitski, an author and creator based in Portsmouth, UK.A bit about me: I started in the film industry as a runner aged thirteen, followed by a stint in the music industry, directing music videos and eventually horror writing. I've also done dozens of other creative bits and pieces.My main practice now is writing and building horror IP, and creative education.I've made a whole bunch of wrong turns, burnt myself out and thrown in the towel (temporarily) on a hundred occasions. But the experiences I had early in my career were a great foundation for the work I do today, and I want to help you along the way to your own version of creative success.There are many overlapping challenges as a creative, including monetisation, burnout, idea paralysis and how to architect your creative life.I've learned how to manage these things on my own, but I don't want other people to feel that way. INTRO
I’m Rob Ulitski, a Portsmouth-based writer, filmmaker and freelance creative with 15 years of experience building across multiple creative lanes.My work spans writing, digital storytelling, film production, content creation and events. I’ve built a career through freelancing, self-initiated work and developing ideas into real outputs over time.I now run practical sessions for students focused on navigating modern creative careers, especially when they feel pulled in lots of directions or unsure how to move forward.I’m currently developing and delivering these sessions alongside my own creative work and teaching framework.
